I founded The Next Step Tuition to tackle a problem I saw again and again in schools: students know the content, but fall short in exams because they don’t know how to use it. Too many bright students miss their potential for reasons as small as “not using the key word” or “not being specific enough.” If this sounds like your child, this isn’t a lack of effort - it’s a lack of coaching on exam technique.
I am now a first-year medical student at the University of Nottingham, with over two years of tutoring experience. I achieved A*AAA at A-level (including a full-marks EPQ on the neurobiology of schizophrenia) and ten Grade 9 GCSEs. I also received four medical school offers, including Nottingham, which gives me direct insight into what selective admissions look for and how students can present their very best.
At The Next Step Tuition, I combine subject mastery with examiner-style coaching and measurable progress tracking, so students don’t just learn - they learn how to win marks.
